Interesting place for exploring Cambridge. The bed was really lovely, and there were hairdryer and soundproof windows too. The restaurant had warm food.
-
Warm place, loved it.
-
The hotel itself was homey and spotless. The staff did all they can for a fine stay. Functional building and fabulous central location.
Wi-Fi was crappy.
-
Peaceful location, close to Oxford, a great museum. The hotel was clean and breakfast was complimentary
-
Everything seemed clean and tidy and Great location, close to train station. Ample parking
-
Good location - free parking - the room was okay. The beds and pillow were comfy. Choices for the breakfast were satisfying.
Maybe the street, it was noisy.
-
We really loved the continental breakfast and the pleasant staff. Twin room included a heating system, an electronic key card and a flat-screen television...
-
Located directly at the railway - convenient for arrival and departure - hotel cooperates with the adjacent Hotel Red Lion
Location because of railway a bit noisy.
-
- clean and very comfortable room . - Very comfortable bed with choice of hardness of pillows . - very courteous and attentive staff . - Railway station directly next to the hotel
- no strong WLAN
-
The day staff is very friendly, the rooms facing away from the train are a little bit quiet. Parking spaces in front of the door are
The breakfast is great, but every day the same! The noise of the street is too loud to leave the window open.
-
Small dinner was also possible in the hotel.
-
Easily accessible, free parking available.
Breakfast was a disaster. Because of the train the night was accordingly short.

Location just off the M11 is good for visits to Duxford and Cambridge. I was visiting the Cambridge crematorium and this was convenient.
Location.
Food in the Red Lion is vastly overpriced. There is now a £5 car parking charge which is not mentioned, or I missed when booking and I felt is a complete rip off.

The staff were helpful, cheery and efficient. The room was spotless , quiet and the bed very comfortable. This is a perfect place to stay for trips into London or Cambridge. I will be coming again.
My only slight criticism is the lack of a drawer which meant that folded clothes remained in the case. Not a problem for an overnight stay but irritating. Also the lack of a mirror over the desk area meant using the bathroom which has low energy lighting for putting on makeup.

Comfortable and clean room, friendly and helpful staff, lots of parking spaces. The hotel is conveniently located close to a train station two stops away from Cambridge. The site is quiet and there is a pub (Red Lion) opposite the hotel. It's good value for money esp. when compared with hotels in Cambridge.
The pub obstructs the hotel's view. A fridge in the room would be nice for families with young children.
